Why should I consider private lessons?

​The Memorial High School band program would like to encourage as many of our students to participate in private lessons as possible. A private instructor can help provide a student with individual attention and adapt to their learning style to maximize learning efficiency. This can create a more tailored learning experience for band students to help better their experience and achieve personal goals throughout the school year. Events such as: All-Region Jazz Band, All-District Band, All-Region Band, Solo and Ensemble and Scholarship auditions are some of the major auditioning events a student can tryout for in high school. With the guidance of a private lessons instructor, your chances of success while auditioning will increase dramatically.
